Spicy Yoghurt Cake
Ingredients
125g butter
1½ cups sugar
3 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp ground cloves
1 cup natural yoghurt
½ tsp vanilla essence
Method
- cream butter and sugar
- beat while adding eggs one at a time
- add remaining ingredients
- Bake moderate oven 35-40mins.
Topping
¾ cup coconut
1/3 cup finely chopped walnuts
½ cup brown sugar
2 tblsp melted butter
½ cup cream
¼ tsp vanilla essence
Mix altogether pour over cake.
